Nicholas Jerry Jonas
Nicholas Jerry Jonas, most commonly known as Nick, was born September 16th 1992 in Dallas, Texas. The son of Denise and Paul Jonas, Nick was born third out of the four brothers and is most known for his passion for music. Currently, Nick contributes to the band in many ways by playing more than one instrument throughout one performance. He is a lead vocalist, pianist, drummer, and guitarist all in one show, for the popular band known as The Jonas Brothers. The band is made up of him and two of his three brothers, Kevin and Joe Jonas.
However big The Jonas Brothers band is now, it all started out as a solo project of Nick's. He had always enjoyed singing and performing as a child, and one day fate gave him a chance. Nick was discovered at the age of six, while on a trip to the barber shop with his mom, Denise Jonas. Overheard singing to himself, he was referred to an official business manager. At the age of seven, Nick became serious about his passion for singing, and began performing on Broadway. He acted in several plays for years including A Christmas Carol, Annie Get Your Gun, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, and The Sound of Music.
Although Nick's broadway was going at full speed, his talent outshining loads of actors over his age, Nick began finding a new passion¨Chelping people. He started the Nick Jonas Foundation only a few short months after performing on broadway, a foundation to help orphans, and the poor in New York. The program was run by him, a kid, for kids in need, raising money each day to find homes for these people. Even today, the passion he held to help other people in need, remains unchanged.
In 2004, the idea was launched that Nick was to release a solo album, and in this process; a new idea was formed. As Nick needed to promote a new song, him and his brothers teamed up to write a hit ( known as ¡®Please Be Mine' ), discovering the outrageous group they could make. When Columbia Records listened to the song, they began to view the brothers a group instead of the original solo career. Thus, The Jonas Brothers was officially formed.
"People have asked me before if I ever felt frustrated that my solo career had suddenly been turned into a group effort, and the answer is that at first, it was a shock, but then if you think about it: who wouldn't want to work with their brothers? They're my absolute best friends, I'm lucky to have them." Nick states after being asked how he felt after the deal was made.
Even we all must admit, although he love Nick Jonas himself, to imagine him without his brothers, is simply impossible.
